Multi-unit role supporting assigned region of 20 stores stretching from Baltimore to PA. Support my assigned team of store managers in functions including, but not limited to:
Ensuring stores are up holding and protecting our brand with every customer visit and interaction.
Set, measure, and improve regional KPI's and continue follow up on company set KPI.
P&L results and improvement with a focus on Dry/Fresh shrink and SG&A. Last year reported best shrink results the region has seen.
Development/execution of shrink plans as needed.
Top line sales with a focus on PFO and UOP. Focus on store manager execution/understanding of
productivity loop to ensure healthy profitability.
Implemented and continually ensure execution of new ZEUS monitoring for front end/customer monitoring. Implementing and leading new company merchandising/programs with a focus on local events and demand. Variety of HR duties from hiring, termination, promotions, to annual appraisals and payroll budget execution. Continual development and training of associates with a focus on bench strength for management & supervisory positions. Help set development plans, timelines, and realistic goals for each "future leader." Troubleshooting concerns for the region as needed. Assist store managers in root causing problems and planning solutions.
Manage day to day operations of running a store including, but not limited to: opening and closing of store as needed, merchandising, administrative duties, exceptional customer service, and increasing sales in the store as well as managing the Profit and Loss report.
Planning and execution of events such as black Friday, Christmas, New year's, Mother's day, Valentine's day, father's day, summer sets, and all other seasonal events.
Performing any and all Human resource duties required. Ex: Evaluations, terminations, Hiring, and
Driving employee engagement while introducing new company direction or programs.
Ensure all customers' expectations are exceeded from clean bathrooms to the freshest produce.
Delegating projects/assignments for the day between all store associates including nine salaried assistant store managers and three to five ZMS (merchandising managers) and up to 300 hourly associates.
Maintaining and enforcing company, state, and federal policies and guidelines as well as reacting to any and all ethical/integrity concerns.
Following up with store maintenance concerns and ensuring issues get resolved timely.
Partnering with asset protection as needed.
Hiring and training of new associates and salaried members of management.
Experienced in receiving and managing night management/associates during stocking hours.
Valued asset in implementing the new back room and stocking program and am often put in
charge of implementing new company programs. Utilized as a regional trainer for all store management. Prepare store for inventory.
